Old school window and door project

I’ve been working on a window and door project for the Little Lakes Community Center in Hemlock, NY. The windows are very rough with most of the gazing falling out. This winter I’ve been removing windows and working on them at my shop. Here are a few photos showing the progression from start to finish. I’m using the linseed oil method which uses linseed oil putty for the gazing and linseed oil paint. These windows have not been worked on in over 20 to 30 years and they need attention. A perfect scenario for a linseed oil approach.

Bedding the rabbit with glazing prior to glass instal
Installing copper points
First coat of linseed oil paint
